Expressionist portrait capturing a moment of emotional suspension. Basel Uraiqat (b. 1982) is an architect and visual artist whose work explores form, material, and human presence across disciplines. His painting practice is rooted in expressionism, using gesture and layering to convey emotional intensity and inner states. He undertook fine art studies at the Slade School of Fine Art, University College London. His work has been exhibited locally and internationally, including in Amman, Dubai, Bahrain, Copenhagen, Basel, London, and Chicago
