Lama Hourani is the founding principal of her eponymous jewelry line. A designer and artist at heart, she draws on her background in Product Design and multidisciplinary arts to create jewelry that is both conceptually meaningful and commercially refined. She launched her first collection in 2000, quickly establishing herself as a trendsetter by making Arab heritage contemporary and accessible across the Middle East.

Raised in an artistic family that founded Jordan’s first private art gallery, Foresight32, Hourani’s practice is deeply rooted in cultural exploration. An avid traveler, she weaves global influences—from prehistoric art and Arabian architecture to African and Latin American symbols—into her distinctive designs, reinterpreting heritage through a modern lens.

In 2012, Hourani was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum for her contribution to art and culture. She oversees production in her Amman and Hong Kong workshops, focusing on craftsmanship, skills training, and social impact through the empowerment of underprivileged communities.

She currently resides between Shanghai, Barcelona, and Amman.
