Nihad Gule is a Syrian visual artist, born in 1968 in the village of Anqala, in the Afrin region of northern Syria. His artistic practice has evolved through years of continuous exploration and experimentation, resulting in a distinctive expressive style that draws on human experience, memory, and his surrounding environment. His works often incorporate symbolic and primal elements, reflecting influences from mythology, heritage, and early visual traditions. Gule has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Syria and abroad, and has maintained an active presence within the Arab art scene. Among his notable participations was an exhibition held at Foresight Art Gallery in Amman in 2007. His artworks are held in institutional and private collections across several Arab and European countries.
