Lina Zawati is a multidisciplinary artist working across architecture, wire sculpture, painting, and chain maille jewelry. Shaped by her background in architecture and design at the American University of Beirut, and by a life lived between the United States, Lebanon, and Jordan, her practice explores cultural memory and emotional resonance through the language of the line. Her wire sculptures transform industrial material into human-like forms marked by vulnerability and presence. Through one-of-a-kind chain maille jewelry, she reinterprets an ancient craft through contemporary form. Painting remains a vital space of inquiry, allowing her work to evolve through ongoing experimentation with material, gesture, and form.
