Of Bangladeshi origin, Dodi Tabbaa got her B.F.A. from the College of Fine Arts at Punjab University in Lahore, Pakistan (1972) and a Post Graduate Diploma in graphic art, textile design and typography from Ruskin School of Art in Oxford, England (1977).

A TRIBUTE TO THE ARAB DIVAS
I wish to honor the influential Arab Divas who captivated audiences with their grace, talent, and charisma. 
These artists showcased their abilities in acting, singing, and dancing within compelling monochrome films. 
Their work subtly addressed societal issues, conveyed artistically through symbolic visuals. 
In the style of modern pop art, I have meticulously curated selected images from both film and digital platforms, ensuring proper acknowledgment of the skilled cinematographers who captured their essence.
Among my favorites are the Egyptian treasure Umm Kalthum and the Lebanese nightingale Fayruz.
