Mohammad Tamimi is a contemporary Jordanian visual artist, born in 1988 in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and raised in Jordan. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Philadelphia University. His artistic practice focuses on the human figure through an abstract, expressive style that explores themes of identity and alienation. He has participated in exhibitions in Jordan and abroad, and currently lives and works in Amman.
This painting captures a deep emotional and psychological state through abstract and distorted features. The muted colors and blurred shapes suggest confusion and inner struggle, while the figure’s expression reflects loneliness and self-searching. It’s a powerful exploration of identity and the human mind.
